Turbine Preflight Checklist

Turbines ( general )
PRIOR TO EACH OPERATION
- general visual check of all turbine components
- ecu battery charged
- ecu connections secure,
- pump secure, no leaks
- fuel system no leaks, kinks, restrictions
- propane tank full, no leaks
- engine secure,compressor area debris free
- general safety zone
- no loose articles around start up area
- no smoking within 25 ft of start up area
- safety zone ( 25 ft ) behind turbine established
- ear protection worn by pilot and assistants
- CO2 extinguisher ready
- ALWAYS START ENGINE WITH GROUND SUPPORT TERMINAL IN PLACE TO MONITOR
ENGINE CONDITION
- Inform all present when ready to initiate start.
